All day, I smiled wryly and nodded knowingly to each of the April Fools’ posts and jokes. Tonight, Tree and I watched Good Night and Good Luck (Thanks, Mom!). It was excellent, thought provoking, and well related to current events. Afterwards, I sat down to the computer and read that Bush is preparing for a third term. For the thirty seconds or so that it took for me to remember that it’s still April 1st, I was panic stricken.

There are some things one just shouldn’t joke about.
